THE
JOURNEYS
For this stage, I was initially inspired by a selection of old postcards I found. I decided to expand on this found imagery by exploring the idea of a journey and different ways to document them such as: photography, videography, stamps and postcards.

INITIAL DEVELOPMENTS
For my first developments, I looked at colours specific to Funch's work and overlapped them (a technique used in 'The Imperfect Atlas') using a Lightbox.
FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS
To further develop this stage, I decided to bring the focus back to postcards (specifically the back of them). These developments are inspired by Stephen Gill's 'Billboards' series.
